Our Favorite “Old Florida” Seafood Place

During our first trip to BSM, we were out exploring Matlacha around lunch time.  We saw the Olde Fish House Marina and decided to do take out from the window.  I had never had fried oysters, but we thought they sounded good.  I have now consumed more fried oysters and I can count!  This place screams “You are in Florida” to us and is often our first stop when we are driving in from the airport.  We typically stick with the fried baskets, and everything is good — grouper, scallops, shrimp and, of course, the oysters.  There are picnic tables in back by the water so grab a beer and enjoy some great, fresh seafood in the Florida sun.
